We hope that you will take the planned stay with us in Breiten. Should this not be the case, the following cancellation policy apply.

Principle

The reservation can be cancelled up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to arrival date (00:00 pm), if no deviating provision has been agreed and subsequently no different cancellation deadline is established.
In case of later cancellation, 100% of the booking amount is due.

High season

In high season (February, mid-July to mid-August and public holidays), the reservation may be cancelled for free up to 10 days before arrival date..
In case of a later cancellation up to 3 days before arrival, 50% of the booking amount, but at least 1 overnight stay, is owed.
In case of later cancellation, 100% of the booking amount is due.

Christmas / New Year (24 Dec - 5 Jan)

In the peak season of Christmas / New Year, the most restrictive cancellation conditions apply. The reservation can be cancelled for free up to 35 days before arrival. If the is cancelled later, the following conditions apply.
  • 35 – 22 days before arrival: 40% of the total cost will be charged.
  • 21 – 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total cost will be charged.
  • 14 – 8 days before arrival: 90% of the total cost will be charged.
  • In case of later cancellation, 100% of the booking amount is due.

Hot-Deal (Non refundable rate)

For a "HOT Deal"-booking, cancellation is not possible. All cancellations, changes or no-show will be charged with the full amount of the stay.

Package offers (Packages)

The normal cancellation conditions apply, unless otherwise specified below.
The reservation of a package can be cancelled at the latest 7 days, in the high season 14 days before the day of arrival.
Subsequently, up to 72 hours before the day of arrival, 50% of the total costs, but at least 1 overnight stay, will be charged.
In case of later cancellation, 100% of the booking amount is due.

Non-arrival / early arrival / late arrival

In case of no-show, late arrival or early departure, the entire booking amount is due.

Advance payment

To secure your reservation we will note your credit card number. We reserve the right to reserve or charge the invoice amount to your credit card before your arrival.
For bookings over Christmas / New Year (24.12. - 5.1.) we require an advance payment of 50% of the costs at the latest 4 weeks before arrival.

Collection

If there are any cancellation fees, we will charge your credit card with the amount of the cancellation fee. If this is not possible, we will send you an invoice. This must be paid within 10 days.
You can pay in advance by bank transfer to our bank account
  • Payments in CHF: Raiffeisen Aletsch-Goms, 3998 Reckingen, CH55 8080 8005 8773 3484 4, RAIFCH22;
  • Payments in Euro: Postfinance, Bern, CH83 0900 0000 9195 2984 3, POFICHBEXXX;
both accounts denominated to Salina Maris, Breiten 1, 3983 Mörel.
Otherwise we will charge your credit card with the invoice amount.

Cancellation agreement

Especially for bookings with a longer cancellation period, we recommend that you take out cancellation insurance (unless you have cancellation insurance that is valid for the whole year).
CAUTION! Certain cancellation insurance policies do not pay if you cancel a booking with a hotel in your country of residence.
We offer you our own cancellation insurance. This costs, 5% of the booking amount, must be paid at the time of booking. The insurance is valid from receipt of the premium amount on our bank account (see above collection).
Our insurance covers the cost of any cancellation up to 8 days before arrival. In case of later cancellation, no-show or early departure, the costs are covered in the following cases: Corona virus, illness, accident, death (of the traveler or a close family member), serious material damage to property at home, delay or breakdown of the means of transport on the journey, strikes and natural disasters, unemployment or resumption of work.
